At Set Books Free, we’re all about asking why. Why are children struggling with reading? With writing? And if they’re struggling, why do we teach them the same ways we always have? Why not try something new? With that thought in mind, we created the Watch Me Write series, where children learn to write the alphabet on their own. Let me repeat: No adult instruction is needed. Simply hand your child a pencil or crayon and a Watch me Write worksheet. Tell them the letter they are going to write and that this is a puzzle they have to figure out on their own. They’re smart. They can do it. And when they do, their confidence will soar.
